Regulus Parans #
Regulus (Alpha Leonis, magnitude 1.4) is the brightest star in the constellation Leo and one of the four Royal Stars of ancient Persian astrology, serving as the Watcher of the North. Its name derives from the Latin rex (king), and its mythological associations center on kingship, nobility, authority, and the capacity for generous, courageous leadership.
